After studying and now have used for a week or so, in
layman terms this is what I see. Basically this is a
complete house surge protector. It hooks directly into
your main circuit breaker and eliminates common surges
not usually noticed by the average homeowner. By doing
so it keeps everything running efficiently without being
interrupted. In our house, we use quite a lot of
electricity during a day. I have already seen some
sufficient changes most people might not notice. For
example: I have a lot of different items in the garage
that I use from time to time, and when you power them up
you create power surges that are noticeable.
My air compressor, freezer and battery charger for our
golf cart are all on one circuit. If the freezer (which
is usually on) is running and I have the golf cart
charger running, and for some reason have to turn on the
air compressor -- This is too much for the circuit. It
causes my circuit breaker to trip. Too much current to
start up - so it overloads the circuit. This is an
extreme case but it does happen from time to time
causing a surge. This does not trip the breaker every
time, but you know you just did it. Problem gone!
When I go into my office and the ceiling fan and
computer are running and I turn on the light switch, I
can hear the switch come on over the speaker in the
computer. Problem gone!
Sometimes when I'm in the bathroom and everything is
quiet, our air conditioning unit is outside and you can
